Supporting the people you love

I’ve been thinking about how important it is to be genuine when someone shares something they’ve created with you. Because the moment they show it to you, they’re already being vulnerable. Creating something is deeply personal. And sharing it, takes courage.
Whether it’s a drawing, a project, a small idea, or something they’re posting online… everyone starts somewhere. And sometimes, we’re the first people that get to support them. That matters.
You don’t have to pretend to love everything. We’re not always going to connect with what others do. But we can always be real. We can pay attention. We can find something we genuinely appreciate.
Sometimes it’s a detail. Sometimes it’s the effort. Sometimes it’s just the fact that they made it and decided to share it to the world.
Our response makes a difference.
We can help people feel safe to keep going. To keep creating. To keep putting themselves out there.
And when you support the people you love like that… you become part of that journey too ✨
